For anything that is not a booking. We answer email within a day during the week.
If you're buying a sample dress you skip the 6 to 12 month lead time of having one made, but do allow 3 to 4 months for alterations. And a lot of decisions happen once the dress is chosen (shoes, jewellery, bridesmaids), so most brides like to settle it early and get on with everything else.
Yes please. Bo & Co is by appointment only, with a small number of slots each week, so that every bride gets the boutique to herself for the full two hours. Booking is quick, and it is the only thing you need to do before you come in.
Two hours. Long enough to try six or seven dresses without rushing, with time to sit between them and think.
Yes, the appointment is free within the boutique's normal working hours. Out of hours visits can be accommodated, as per our terms and conditions.
Up to two of your favourite people. The seats are comfortable and they will always have the best view of the mirror. Make sure to pick people whose opinion you really value, and who you want to share this special memory with.
Nude or white underwear always helps, plus your wedding shoes if you have them. Don't worry if you haven't got them, there is a box you can stand on. Please do not use fake tan prior to the appointment, and minimal makeup is very much appreciated.
Most are pieces from the designers' own collections, used briefly for a lookbook or a showroom, then sent on to us, often before anyone has even tried them on.
The dresses vary by designer and piece. Tell us roughly what you would like to spend when you book, and we will pull dresses in your range for the day.
I'm afraid not. I only sell unworn, unaltered sample dresses.
We do not alter in-house, but we can advise you towards trusted seamstresses, who will provide a personalised quote based on any changes you would like. As a general rule of thumb, you should budget £300 for basic alterations.
Often, yes. A seamstress can add or remove sleeves, adjust straps, and shift some necklines, alongside the usual fit and length work. It depends on the dress, so we will talk through what is possible for the one you choose at your appointment, before you decide.
